Alzheimer’s Disease Clinical Trial

Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia that affects memory, thinking, and behaviour. Symptoms eventually grow severe enough to interfere with daily tasks.

Current therapies for Alzheimer’s may provide symptomatic relief from cognitive difficulties however, they only produce a modest effect and are accompanied by dose-limiting side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, muscle cramps and general malaise.

This study will investigate if early intervention with a new medication can help to prevent the condition from deteriorating.
