COVID-19 Infections are still a major concern for many in the community, especially those most at risk from infection.
Antiviral medications can stop the virus replicating in the body and shorten illness or reduce complications.
This study is exmining the effectiveness of an alternative antiviral medication for patients unable to take Paxlovid.
You may be able to take part if you meet ANY of the following criteria:
• 75 yrs of age and older
• Immunocompromised
• Multiple medical conditions
• Increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19 for other reasons
AND
• Unable to take Paxlovid
