Thousands of people have lower back pain with no apparent cause and in many cases no immediate cure. Pain can range from mild to severe, and in some cases, pain can make it difficult or impossible to walk, sleep, work or do everyday activities.
At the CGM Research Trust, we are committed to helping to find treatments for some of the most difficult conditions facing modern medicine, including Lower Back Pain. We are conducting a trial to see whether an experimental treatment of antibiotics, injected into the affected spinal disc will help those with pain.
We hope that one day, lower back pain recovery will be faster, easier and more complete. In the meantime we need to trial new medications to help this happen.
- Are you aged between 18 and 70 years of age?
- Have you had chronic back pain for at least 6 months?
- Have you had an MRI of your lower back??
